Voice, Ask & lists

Not Alexa. Not Google.

Hey, and any name you choose.

Call your house Chris, Buddy or Nana, even one of the kids' names, and it answers to that. The nearest screen replies, and the assistant runs on the hub in your house, so what you say stays home.

  • Runs on the hub
  • Ask by voice or by typing
  • Lists on every phone

Questions

Good questions, plain answers.

Can I really call it anything?

Yes. You choose the name it answers to: Chris, Buddy, Nana, even one of the kids' names. No "Alexa", no "Hey Google", no "Hey Siri".

Does what we say go to a company's cloud?

No. The assistant, the listening and the voice all run on the hub in your house, so what you say stays home.

Does it still work if the internet goes down?

Yes. Voice runs on the hub, so it keeps answering, just as the cameras keep recording, the alarm keeps watching and the heating keeps its plan.

Which screen answers?

The nearest one. Say its name in the kitchen and the kitchen screen answers.

Can I type instead of talking?

Yes. Ask by voice or by typing, in your own words, on every phone, tablet and computer in the house.

How do the shopping lists work?

Shopping and to-do lists live on every phone in the house. Add things by voice ("add milk to the shopping list"), or add a recipe's ingredients in one go.

Pick a name. We'll do the rest.

Tell us what you would call it and which rooms should have a screen. A fixed price in writing before anything is fitted.

We usually reply within two hours, 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
