Works with · Speakers

Every speaker. One app, one limit.

Speakers and soundbars join the hub over your Wi-Fi. Play the radio or a podcast by asking, and say "Dinner's ready" in the rooms you choose.

Speakers7 brands that join with no cloud

Every one talks to the hub in your house. No maker's cloud, nothing a month.

What they do on the hub

Joined once. Then part of the house.

Radio and podcasts by asking

Any station by name, podcasts straight from the show, and your music service once the house is signed in.

Announcements

"Dinner's ready" on the speakers you choose, from any phone.

Loud enough, never too loud

Volume stops at 45 from the app or by voice. Going louder takes a PIN.

Together, or one room

Speakers that can group play the same thing in the rooms you tap, and split again in one tap.

Brand by brand

The ones that join. No cloud needed.

Which models, and what each brand does once it has joined. Not sure about yours? Send us a photo and we will tell you straight.

Sonos

Works locally

Sonos speakers, soundbars and amps.

Sonos joins with nothing to press on the speaker. Rooms group and split in a tap, and each speaker keeps its own volume under the house limit.

Google Cast

Works locally

Nest Audio, Nest Mini, and speakers and soundbars with Chromecast built-in.

A Nest Mini in the kitchen or a soundbar with Chromecast built-in plays the hub's radio, podcasts and announcements, sent to it over your own network.

Each one is set up once in its maker's app to join your Wi-Fi.

Sony

Works locally

Wi-Fi soundbars, speakers and receivers that work with Sony's Music Center app.

A Sony soundbar joins with nothing to press, and can sit under the TV it plays for: turn the TV down and the soundbar goes down with it.

Bose

Works locally

SoundTouch speakers. Newer Bose Smart speakers and soundbars through Chromecast built-in, where the model has it.

SoundTouch speakers join with nothing to press. A newer Bose Smart speaker joins through its Chromecast built-in, switched on once in the Bose app.

Some Bose Smart models have no way in at home. Send us the model and we will check it.

Denon and Marantz

Works locally

HEOS speakers and soundbars, and Denon and Marantz AV receivers.

A Denon or Marantz receiver joins as itself, so the app switches its input and sets its volume; HEOS speakers also play the hub's radio and announcements.

Yamaha

Works locally

MusicCast speakers, soundbars and receivers.

MusicCast speakers join with nothing to press. Group them from the app and the same station plays in every room you pick.

WiiM

Works locally

WiiM and Audio Pro streamers and speakers.

A WiiM streamer turns the hi-fi you already own into a speaker the hub can play the radio and announcements on.

What we leave out, and why

Speakers that only take orders through their maker's cloud cannot join. The volume limit can only watch a speaker that reports its own level.

Questions

Speakers, answered plainly.

Can I control Sonos without the Sonos app?

Day to day, yes. Sonos speakers join the hub in your house, so volume, grouping, radio and announcements are in our app on every phone. The Sonos app still works beside it.

Can I play my music service on the speakers by asking?

Once the house is signed in to your music service, inside our app, you can ask for a song by name. Radio stations and podcasts need no account at all.

Can I make an announcement on every speaker?

Yes. Type it or pick one, such as "Dinner's ready", and choose the rooms.

How does the volume limit work?

Speakers and TVs stop at 45 from the app or by voice. Going louder takes a PIN, and it stays open for half an hour. The alarm's siren is never limited.

Tell us what you have. We tell you what joins.

A photo or a list on WhatsApp is enough. We check every model, say what joins and what we would fit instead, and give you a fixed price in writing.

We usually reply within two hours, 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
